Hank Hazard Gets Universal Update To Allow Hamster Stunts On The iPad
415 days ago
Hank Hazard is one exceptional physics puzzle game, because it’s simply unlike anything else in the App Store. I found myself trying to complete the game last weekend after leaving it alone since our review. I was reminded just how enjoyable it is with every single level offering a unique challenge. There is so much to do in any given level as you use boosts, glass platforms, spring loaded boxing gloves, bombs, and more while dodging flames, electric fields, and sharks.
Hank Hazard offers a great balance of puzzle and action as you first need to figure out what to do, and then perform the quick succession of actions to complete a level. There are 90 stunt filled levels that also have special challenges allowing you to unlock bonus levels. New elements are continuously introduced, and the final set of levels offer up some insane challenges. Up until this point, all of this fun has been limited to the iPhone, but a new update adds universal support for iPad owners to get in on the action.
The iPad allows the game to be a little more friendly as you can see more each level at once, and it’s not as cramped when tapping a few different items consecutively. Hank Hazard ($0.99, Universal) is one of the best games of 2012, although it’s early, and is thoroughly worth the limited entry price. The only thing missing is iCloud support to easily transfer saved game data from the iPhone to iPad.
